How a top 100 Law Firm managed its increase in demand for cross-platform video meetings, simplified the end-user experience and saved cost 

Challenge

The COVID-19 pandemic catapulted a rise in numerous video conferencing vendors in the market that enabled successful collaboration in the world of remote working. While these platforms work great within their own ecosystems, cross-platform video conferencing is still not a reality for many organizations.  

With the global acceptance of a hybrid working model, a Top 100 Law Firm started to experience a rapid increase in external video meetings.  

 

Solution & Deployment

The firm deployed Microsoft Teams in 2019 and the usage had grown substantially. The switch to Microsoft Teams brought many benefits for users but caused more work, complexity, and time wastage for the administrative teams. The firm quickly realized that this increase in the volume of video calls was leading to more support for end users and thus was an administrative nightmare.  

The company sought to make meetings easy to schedule and join, regardless of the platform. The firm leaders also recognized an urgent need to equip their teams with better tools to manage, launch and analyze all their meeting room endpoints.
