A better alternative to CVI is Synergy SKY CONNECT - VTC to Teams interoperability

 
Do you have traditional videoconferencing devices (ie Cisco / Poly) in your Multi-Disciplinary Team Rooms (MDT), Training Rooms,  Lecture Theatres & meeting rooms?

This solution has been officially approved by NHS Digital (and Accenture) we have a refined process to request access for your trust and is available on NHSMail calendars for those that are opted into the service.
 
Synergy SKY is an enhanced alternative that unlike CVI will give you access to both internal and external MS Teams meetings and allow the use of Microsoft PowerPoint Live. This will allow you to communicate with other trusts, partner organisations like your supply chain, external training companies, local colleges, universities, or laboratories that do not have CVI.

How does it actually work?

Synergy SKY CONNECT provides a media handling server that performs SIP-based video protocol gateway services to web conference-based cloud platforms. This video gateway allows for VTC endpoints, independent of registration, to communicate bidirectionally with both audio and video to the Microsoft Teams platform.

This is the only solution that provides a similar native Microsoft Teams experience on video teleconferencing devices as you get on Teams clients.
