Deploy within Private Cloud

Introduction

The Synergy SKY Platform is a Linux-based container image that can be hosted within most virtualized environments. This article describes deployment within a pre-deployed Rocky Linux environment including:

  • Downloading the installation script
  • Installation of Synergy SKY Management SUITE container

 

Requirements

 

 

Server Requirements

CPU: 6 cores

RAM: 16 GB

Install Directory: 100GB minimum, 500GB recommended

Internet connectivity

OS Requirements

Rocky Linux 9

User Requirements

Sudo capable User credentials

General Requirements

Step-by-Step Guide

Download the Installation Script

  1. Log in as a sudo capable User

  2. Type the following command to download the installation script:
    1. curl -O https://download.joingw.com/SUITE/suite_quickinstaller.sh

 

Installation of Synergy SKY Management SUITE container

  1. Type the following command to start the installation script:
    1. sudo bash suite_quickinstaller.sh
      1. You will be prompted for sudo password and to confirm settings to proceed



  1. Type ‘y’ and Synergy SKY software will begin download and installation



  1. Once installation is complete you will be presented with the following information


  2. In order to access the web interface to continue configuration, make sure firewall is enabled to allow 443/tcp communications. Example commands below:
    1. sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=443/tcp
    2. sudo firewall-cmd --reload
